Bangla Sahib is one of the many beautiful gurudwaras present in India. Located in Delhi this place is one of the pilgrim centers for the Sikhs.

As most of the gurudwaras are this too is white in color and the domes are golden in color.

This temple is crowded with thousands of devotee's everyday. Sardar Baghel Singh built this gurudwaras in the year 1783 which was reconstructed by Sardar harbans singhji.

At this time he also added a samovar a kind of water body to enhance the beauty of the temple. Bangla Sahib celebrates the birthday of Guru Harikishanji who helped people when the epidemic of small pox and chicken pox broke in Delhi.

He went in each and every corner of Delhi to look after people and to help them cure this disease. He distributed holy water to the infected, which had miraculous power of healing the affected.

Eve today holy water is given away in the temple for people who distressed and are in need of some help above the help, which a human can give. When this epidemic got over he won the faith of not only the Hindus but also the Muslims, later he himself died because of small pox 30th March 1664.
